Traditional Patio Ideas and Inspirations
We've put together a collection of patios that we hope
will inspire you to create something a bit special.

This natural stone patio was designed and built with
the garden very much in mind. The owner has successfully created an
untamed, rugged look. Natural stone is hard to beat if that is the
effect you are looking for. Notice how a lot of
thought has gone into the choice of furniture to make sure it also adds
to the theme.
By
adding the circle design to this brick paver patio the owner has added a
focal point to what otherwise might have appeared a "boring" patio due
to its size. Wherever you entered the patio from your eyes would
naturally be led to the pattern. You can buy these patterns with the
brick pavers ready cut. Again the choice of
furniture matches well with the brick pavers.
A
stand alone patio again done in brick pavers with a concrete edging and
finished off with some colored gravel. A stand alone patio is ideal if
the area immediately to the back of your home is shaded during the
afternoons. A worry would be the
lack of shade although a large parasol or perhaps a gazebo would soon
remedy this.
Another
stand alone patio but this time with a path leading to it.
It has been formed from concrete and blends well with its
surroundings. The tree will provide some welcome shade while at the same
time giving the patio area a cozy feel.

A great example of an outdoor living room. Includes
outdoor cooker with worktops for preparing food, a patio bar and lots of
seating for guests.
